Digital Renaissance

This Y2000 dot com space was the sales office for a San Francisco technology company. Situated in an old factory building the client did not want any sheetrock or florescent lighting. Picking up on the industrial aesthetic, woven wire mesh was attached to the ceiling to conceal the insulation, ducts were left exposed and plywood was screwed to the floor in lieu of hardwood. Behind the entry desk was an opening that slowly changed color throughout the day.
